CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO FORMING THE POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES
Abstract
In modern conditions, the basis of stable socio-economic development is the effective use of the potential of business entities of various sectors of the economy, in particular the agro-industrial complex. Economic development largely depends on the level of competitiveness and capabilities of agro-industrial enterprises, which requires the development of a system of measures to diversify the industry structure, strengthen its innovative and social components. Key areas of transformation of the production structure of agro-industrial enterprises should be formed in accordance with the demand for products and market needs, taking into account the provision of the necessary raw materials, reducing their import dependence, assessing the efficiency of production and increasing the contribution of the industry to solving socio-economic problems. Increasing production efficiency is directly related to the mechanism of formation, use and development of the potential of agricultural enterprises. One of the directions in the development of such a mechanism is the creation of production and marketing associations with a mandatory exchange of shares between participants in the form of holdings, joint-stock companies, including agricultural enterprises that produce raw materials, processing organizations and an extensive sales network. Such a scheme will ensure mutual interest in the final results of the work, since the shares of raw material processing enterprises or trades will be owned by the farms that produce these raw materials, and vice versa, part of the shares of the farms will be owned by processing enterprises and the trading network. The article proposes the author's vision of the concept of the potential of agricultural and industrial enterprises and its structural components. The role of managerial potential in the general structure of the potential of agricultural and industrial enterprises is determined. A conceptual scheme of the model of formation and development of the potential of agricultural and industrial enterprises is formed. External and internal factors influencing the potential of agro-industrial complex enterprises are characterized.
