INNOVATIVE ASPECTS OF EDUCATIONAL PROCESS ORGANIZATION IN MANAGING THE EFFICIENCY OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Keywords: higher education efficiency, educational process, performance management, higher education, innovations in higher education

Abstract

This article analyzes the innovative aspects of organizing educational activities in higher education institutions. It has been established that the majority of innovative methods utilize information technologies, and their implementation has been accelerated by contemporary challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the full-scale war. The need for staff training regarding the use of innovative methods in educational practices is also emphasized, along with actions aimed at overcoming resistance to changes in the educational environment. The article proposes a methodology for calculating the effectiveness of implementing innovative practices, which takes into account the individual characteristics of each higher education institution, which makes it a universal tool for assessing the effectiveness of the innovative component. The model for overcoming resistance to change should be based, first of all, on staff training in order to avoid misunderstandings that may arise from misinterpretation and the active involvement of all participants in the educational process in the change processes. The actions included in the model for overcoming resistance to change should be based primarily on the action of soft power and interaction, rather than on coercion, which can, on the contrary, worsen the collective's attitude towards change. The article emphasizes that the main factors for introducing innovations into the educational process of a higher education institution should take into account the personal data of scientific and pedagogical staff, the creation of the necessary psychological microclimate that encourages innovation, and the availability of the necessary material and technical base for implementing innovative activities. The article proposes an evaluation method for assessing the effectiveness of implementing innovative teaching methods, which is universal for each individual process. Furthermore, a process for introducing innovations into the educational activities of higher education institutions is suggested, focusing on fostering a culture of innovation implementation while accounting for the individual characteristics of the higher educational university that will be taken into an account.
