INNOVATIVE FINANCIAL MODELS FOR STARTUPS: SUSTAINABLE GROWTH AND FUNDING STRATEGIES
Abstract
The current scientific work investigates strategies for sustainable growth and fundraising in the context of their innovativeness for financing startups. To this end, it is considered how the integration of various concepts of economic thinking can change the process of fundraising and promote sustainable growth of the startup itself. The stages of startup development are characterized and the activities of investment funds and angel investors at each of these stages are analyzed. The issue of the state's activity in creating a domestic startup ecosystem is mentioned and its role in the process of their financing is determined. The relevance of the study is determined by the potentially high role of startups in the future reconstruction process of Ukraine. The purpose of current research is to describe the process of creating innovative financial models for startups in the process of growth and raising funds The methods used in the study are the monitoring method (data collection and analysis), the comparison method (comparison of the role of various startup financing instruments), the graphical method (construction of graphical dependencies between the studied factors) and the abstract-logical method (formation of conclusions and generalizations). The main shortcomings of the current study are the limited sample in time (analytical materials only for the last ten years) and insufficient emphasis on the change in the paradigm of creating startups in Ukraine as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The results of the study showed that there is no single effective financial model to attract funds in startup development, so entrepreneurs should use a whole set of financial instruments, and the principles used in the creation of these models depend on the scope of startup. The main problems in the process of creating an information model are the misunderstanding of the algorithm, which is based on the requirements and basic components. The practical value of the article is that we have implemented the principle of time value in the created financial model. This made the importance of conceptual approach to creating financial models.
