THE CONCEPT OF NEO-INDUSTRIAL MODERNIZATION OF MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY WITHIN THE PARADIGM OF THE TRANSFORMATION OF ECONOMIC SYSTEMS
Abstract
The purpose of the scientific article is the theoretical substantiation of the concept of neo-industrial modernization of the processing industry within the paradigm of the transformation of economic systems. The research is relevant given the fact that the world industry is currently experiencing rapid transformations associated with the transition from industrial and post-industrial societies to neo-industrial ones, which are formed in the conditions of digitization and the development of innovative high technologies (artificial intelligence, virtual reality and big data technologies, robotic cyberphysiological systems, etc.). These trends are particularly pronounced in the processing industry, since its industries are more capital-intensive compared to the extractive industry, have a higher added value, as well as rapid moral and physical aging of their products, and therefore require constant innovation. It is this kind of innovative, or new, processing industry that is being implemented now in Ukraine, in order to find non-standard solutions for overcoming global challenges during the war with the help of innovations. The systematization of the measures listed above in a holistic concept will contribute to the development of a macro-level strategy for the neo-industrial modernization and development of the processing industry of Ukraine, taking into account the current paradigm of transformational processes in the world economy. The research methods are critical literary analysis, systematic generalization, identification analysis, heuristic method, retrospective causal analysis, decomposition, synthesis, deduction, induction, abstraction, and comparative analysis. Research results: on the basis of a review of scientific literature, the essence of the paradigm of transformation of economic systems was revealed through its decomposition, taking into account the context of industrial development; on the basis of abstraction and deduction, the place of the concept of neo-industrial modernization within the paradigm of transformation is determined; as a result of the analysis and synthesis, a comprehensive description of the transformational processes during the neo-industrial modernization of the processing industry was given. The practical significance of the research results is that the presented concept is the basis for the development of a national strategy for the neo-industrial development of the processing industry of Ukraine during the war.
