DIGITIZATION TRANSFORMATIONAL EFFECTS IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT IN THE CONDITIONS OF INDUSTRY 4.0

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of transformational effects of industrial production on the basis of digitalization. The main global priorities for the development of Industry 4.0 and the achievement of global goals of sustainable development, in particular, the development of information and communication technologies. The main components and technologies of Industry 4.0 in the context of digitalization of production are identified. The dynamics of value added of industrial production (including construction) of some leading countries and partner countries of Ukraine from 2011 to 2020 is analyzed. subindex of information and communication technologies for 21 countries and identified the leading countries in terms of digitalization potential and industrial development. It is determined that the main directions of production transformation are determined by three global technological trends: network integration, intellectualization and flexible automation. The leading global enterprises on introduction of breakthrough technologies of Industry 4.0 and features of their development are defined. At the micro level, the main technologies for optimizing production lines are presented, the key directions of digitization are identified. It is determined that in order to ensure positive effects, it is important to develop human capital to provide Industry 4.0 technologies, as well as to automate production and use of robotics. Collaborative robots as highly efficient automated mechanisms have been studied as an effective tool for process optimization and the peculiarities of their application have been determined.
