COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPMENT OF STARTUPS IN UKRAINE AND OTHER COUNTRIES
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to determine the main prerequisites for the development of startups, including the formation and detailing of the organizational components and infrastructural support, taking into account some economic indicators. The essence of startups and the factors of the development of startups for the formation of startups in Ukraine are determined. Discovered the factors that affect the development of startups in the world. For comparison with Ukraine some EU countries, neighboring countries, the United Kingdom and the United States are selected. The direct proportional relationship between the number of startups and the corresponding values of the economic freedom index in the countries-leaders of startups is determined. The positions of the studied countries according to the methodology based on the analysis of the given data are analyzed. The population of the countries is elected as the base of bringing. The results of the analysis of the positions of countries by absolute values and the reduced index of the number of startups for 1 million people are compared. The significant decline in the positions of countries that had a leading position, starting with the third place, and the rise of some of the EU countries, which occupied the absolute bottom of the seventh place are determined. The high potential of development of startups in Ukraine is identified. The components of startup organizational and infrastructural support are detailed.
